Sunburst

When I'm out shooting wedding photos I'm obviously keeping a close eye on the light. I know where the sun is shinning and were the light needs to fall. I am also looking for opportunity. If I see the opportunity to get a good sunburst into a wedding photo I am going to take it. I think a nice sunburst really adds a little wow factor to a photo and on top of that it adds to the story of the day.

Beautiful insight, Rob. The way you describe chasing light and sunbursts really captures the instinctive artistry of wedding photography. I agree that sunbursts add a unique storytelling element — almost like nature joining the celebration.

On a similar note, I’ve been experimenting with enhancing natural light effects in post using AI tools. For anyone working with slightly underexposed shots or older photos, this resource is quite handy for restoring and refining image quality without losing that original warmth and mood. Would love to hear if you use any post-processing tricks to enhance light in your edits!
